How You Are Viewed In The Marketplace And More
Plus What To Do About That To Maximize Profits!

Description

A corporate review is a critical look at how well your organization maximizes profits by operating and marketing in the most efficient, customer-centric ways.  This is an in-depth undertaking that looks at all customer facing touchpoints, first utilizing your current resources to their best advantage and then pointing out the stages of improvement that might be advantageous.  It is important to remember, as we go through the process, that M4P does not represent any “solutions providers”.  We are completely independent and unbiased in our recommendations to you, based on working with hundreds of companies over hundreds of years of combined experience.

What follows is an example of a typical scope of work as it relates to a Corporate Review.

1.  M4P will start with a review of your organization.  This will include interviewing you, other members of management, and employees whose work directly affects your clients.  As appropriate, we will be looking at:

  • active and inactive client lists; or for startup companies look at PathLine
  • current target markets;
  • services and product lines;
  • product successes and failures;
  • pricing strategies;
  • current and past marketing and advertising, including results;
  • research that you may have already done;
  • potential alternate markets, media, products and/or services;
  • methods used for developing referrals, cross selling, up-selling, re-selling and re-activating;
  • sales and management training;
  • sales support materials, systems and monitoring;
  • effectiveness of in person presentations, telephone contacts and follow-up;
  • client service activities, communications and support materials;
  • effectiveness of sales and distribution channels and partners;
  • marketing employee and sales channel partner compensation, incentive and motivational structures;
  • competitive position;
  • features which can differentiate you from the competition;
  • corporate goals, philosophies and preferred methodology;
  • budgetary, people, facility and other asset considerations;
  • level and type of computerization and how your database is managed;
  • overall work and process flow, as well as;
  • other factors that will show themselves to be relevant during our review.

2.  We will spend time with your people for a "typical" portion of their day.

  • see their level of expertise and skill;
  • observe first hand reactions from clients;
  • note the flow of daily activities, and;
  • get first hand input from them.

3.  Based on our management and marketing expertise, and what we learn from your written materials, client and employee interviews, we will develop a survey for your approval.  This research study will be done as an "industry survey" (without reference to you), by an independent research company, to determine such factors as:

  • how your clients chose their top current supplier, and why they left the last one;
  • how to get your prospects and clients to want to do more business with you -- including other products, services, formats or packages they would like you to offer, especially ones they may already be receiving from competitors;
  • your competitive position -- the recognized advantages you can capitalize on, as well as areas requiring improvement;
  • whether your reputation and services are consistent with your pricing and image;
  • how to package and price your services to maximize activity and/or profitably with your most valuable customers;
  • the susceptibility of groups to various forms of marketing;
  • what your clients have in common -- in addition to demographics, and;
  • other points of differentiation and diversification that guide us to cost effective growth.

An independent research company will complete contact with approximately 75 active and 75 inactive clients, as well as two groups of 75 companies each, from targeted industry segments who are not your clients.

4.  When steps 1 - 3 are completed, we will analyze the information we have gathered and overlay more than 50 proven management/marketing techniques in our arsenal.  From this, we will develop, produce and present a Strategic/Marketing Plan specifically for your organization.  It will tell you what steps and sequence we believe are the most cost effective to help you achieve your specific goals.

The above process normally takes 8 to 12 weeks to complete, depending on the availability of your materials, personnel and those people chosen for surveying, as well as your rapid approval of the proposed interview script.

5.  Then M4P can help you implement the plan.  Depending on your final strategy, we might:

  • create incentive programs, based on market desires, mixed with  enhancements your clients and prospects will want enough to give you more of their business;
  • synchronize and coordinate the implementation of marketing and advertising materials, training activities and other services which may be necessary, for cost effective, best client maximization and new client acquisition;
  • enhance the skill level of your client contact people, and/or hire and train new sales, telemarketing and client service personnel;
  • work shoulder-to-shoulder with you and/or your people to open major accounts;
  • introduce and develop enhanced techniques for improved results in re-selling, cross-selling, up-selling, re-activation, as well as maximizing retention and referrals;
  • build internal teams, fostering maximum cooperation and interdependence in your success;
  • coordinate the search and implementation of a fully integrated, computerized customer relationship management, accounting and operations system;
  • facilitate such operational reorganization and management revitalization as the plan calls for, and/or;
  • assist with such product development and market diversification as the research indicates could prove profitable.

6.  M4P agrees to perform all of the above under your choice of payment structure and pricing.

  • $350 per hour, billed at the end of each month, net 10, including our “satisfaction or you do not pay” guarantee;
  • $325 per hour, payable as a 50 hour retainer prior to services, or;
  • $300 per hour, payable as a 100 hour retainer prior to services.
  • We do NOT charge for phone, fax and local T&E expenses.  You will be billed weekly (Net 10) for any pre-approved expenses for non-local T&E (outside a 50 mile radius from our office) or meetings with your clients and/or employees.

7.  Results to anticipate include:

  • a Strategic/Marketing Plan presented between 75 and 90 days of starting;
  • a 10% increase in sales over the same month in the prior year, starting with the fourth month after approval of the plan, and;
  • a 25% increase in sales over the same month in the prior year, starting with the seventh month after approval of the plan.

8. Our commitment is to excellent service at a speed appropriate to, and not interfering with your working environment, without tying you into a long term contract.  Therefore, this agreement is cancelable on 30 day written notice by either party.

9.  Our Guarantee -- If, at any time, you are not satisfied with our work, you decide how much, if any, of ouir invoice for the last 30 days you pay.

10.  All services to be provided by other suppliers, including telemarketing, graphics, media, research, training, etc., as agreed to by your organization, will be billed directly to your organization by the supplier.  For instance, using an experienced survey company, the research above would probably cost between $10,000 to $14,000.

 Why wait?  If you want to assure a secure future for your company NOW, you have to take action NOW!  It's tough to compete.  Give yourself the advantage of the knowledge that only comes from the experience of an unbiased review.
